Connecting AI agents

Bonsai’s server speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Any MCP client, such as Claude, can connect to your space after you sign in and approve it.

What an assistant can do

• Capture what you said into your Inbox, word for word.
• Search and read notes across everything you can see.
• Add tasks to a project, and move issues along their type’s workflow.
• Create and update notes inside existing project folders.

Changes wait for you

Anything an assistant writes is recorded as a pending change with a short summary. It stays pending until you acknowledge it on the web, so you always know what was added on your behalf.

Note contents are data, not instructions. Text inside a note never changes what an assistant is allowed to do.
